Here are some things to do while staying in the Cottage.... 
Golf at the "Resort at the Mountain" course
Hiking on many trails for all  skill and ability levels in the Mt Hood wilderness area
Great restaurants (and some not so great - but still good)
Summer Skiing and snowboarding at Timberline on Mt. Hood
Winter skiing and snowboarding at several ski resorts
Mountain climbing on nearby Cascade mountain volcanoes
Fishing - catch and release fly fishing during season
Watching the rain
Watch the Salmon spawn - Usually September 15 - October 15 -depends on the rains
Swim in the icy waters of the Salmon River 
Feeding ducks
Looking  for and Photographing the spring wildflower (Late April - Mid May)
Bird watching
Looking  for and photographing the fall mushrooms (Usually after October 15 until a good freeze)
Hammock therapy during the summer
Throwing Frisbees for Jed, the wonder dog
Day trips to the big city - Portland Oregon
Visit Timberline Lodge - this is a "must see" in our area
Get Married in our private park - (Doug is an ordained minister of the Universal Life Church) 
and , (if you're are lucky) dancing with our local black bears
